Fees as of January 1, 2026:

Base rate: $215 per 60 minutes, (see Psychology Association of Saskatchewan or Psychologists’ Association of Alberta for recommended pricing)

SLIDING SCALE - For clients with limited or no benefits coverage, the following fees apply:

  $180 per 60 minutes

  $270 per 90 minutes

  $360 per 120 minutes

Cancellation or late rescheduling (less than 24 hours’ notice):

  $107.50 base rate

  $90 reduced rate

No shows (non-attendance without any notice, defined as no appearance after 20 minutes):

  $215 base rate

  $180 reduced rate

Other services

  $50 per 15 minute increment for phone calls, general letters, or consults (e.g., with your physician or other service provider)

Note that letters for insurance companies are charged at $107.50 per 30 minute increment

Minimum court-related fees:  

  $500 per hour for preparation for court

  $1500 per half-day for court attendance

  $3500 per full day for court attendance

*Please note that 3rd party payers typically do not cover late cancellation/rescheduling or no show fees.

Be aware that depending how you pay, your payment information may be revealed to third parties, and show up on your credit card statements.

Payment is due the day of service.  Crocus Psychology accepts cash, debit, and credit card at the office, or you can send an e-transfer to the email address on your invoice.

Direct billing

I am able to direct bill for a variety of insurance plans, including those covered under Telus eHealth, Medavie Blue Cross, SK Blue Cross, Alberta Blue Cross, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), NIHB, and others. Look here for a more exhaustive list.
